Who is Jeff Jarrett?

He is a committed soul for justice, individual choice and rights.  A champion for the causes of the elderly and helpless.  Born to Dr. Jerald and Sylvia Jarrett in 1961 in Salt Lake City, Utah.  His science and middle class upbringing along with mid-west strong work ethics  and religious foundation formed his tenacious nature.  This coupled with consistent charity and community service describes the man.

A fiscal conservative with a degree in Economics helped him build a thriving business.  Additionally, Mr. Jarrett did not forget his roots or the needs of the community serving at the salvation army, foreign missions, active in the Churches he attended, and forthright in his business dealings with the public, clients and employees.  Awards and accolades dating back to his youth continue to date with his BIA Hawaii awards.  As a manager for a Housing Authority, he faithfully served the public and has dealt with the bureaucracy which most politicians have never touched.

His premise for running for US Senator is:

•    Fiscal responsibility and a balance budget.  “If individuals and businesses must live within a budget and within their means so must the government!”
•    Respect for the elderly and the commitments made to them through Social Security, Medicare and the VA.
•    Strong national defense.
•    State’s rights pre eminent to the Nation, Individual’s rights pre eminent to state.
•    The Economy is the engine of our future, the foundation of preserving our      society and frame work for freedom and dignity.
•    That individual responsibility with honor and integrity, full-filled will get us      through any situation.

He believes this can be achieved through:

•    Term limits for all members of Congress
•    All benefits (medical, retirement etc.) available to Federal workers, Congress and the Executive branch are to be made available to the people (no exemptions)
•    A Self Sufficiency Act which makes us energy independent and financial secure (debt free by 2020)
•    Pay for congress is based on performance, without a balanced budget they receive half of their stipulated salary
•    The average pay for government workers not to exceed 10% over the national average (including benefits)
•    Formulate and implement a flat tax
•    Institute an investment tax credit to stimulate business investment
•    Restrict the EPA to regulate only the Superfund sights putting individual rights over those of animal and plant rights
•    Institute Health Care and retirement savings plans which invest in the companies and institutions which will be used by these same individuals
