Hawaii Wind Power

Hawai’i is blessed with the finest things our world has to offer.  Surrounded by the deepest and cleanest ocean water, nearly constant sun and calming breezes it would be unthinkable to miss use or worse not use these elements for our self-sufficiency.

Using wind power we can produce not only electricity but the energy necessary to produce hydrogen from the ocean in sufficient quantities to eliminate the need for imports of  petroleum and the pollution it’s use produce.

Additionally with photo voltaic power combined with wind power we can be completely energy independent.  We also have ample farm land to produce crops for the biodiesel used in trucking, shipping and the fishing industries.

Beyond this we have more than enough land to farm and produce the food we need.  Yes, we can be self sufficient and we can develop business’ and industries which will improve our economy and retain the families and talent which at present seems to leave the aina.

Through changes in our business and tax structure, looking to the future and over coming prejudice we can build a strong and vibrant economy while maintaining our culture.  A tourist based economy is too fragile to bank our future on.  We can do better – but we must work together.
